Totibadze Gallery opened on January 28 in 2016. Since the gallery was found, it held more than 20 exhibitions. Solo artist exhibitions include Alena Kirtsova, Olga and Alexander Florenski, Aleskandra Zakharov, Ruben Monakhov, Sergei Zuev and Muriel Russo. Collective exhibitions in the "Space 7", include works of Mikhail Romadin, Nikolai Andreevich, Nikita Makarov and Dmitry Semakov.
Konstantin and George Totibadze are the famous painters in the Moscow art community, who decided to unite and open the art gallery with the old residents of the Winzavod CCA, Georgiy Tashkir and Marina Tsurtsumia.
Gogi and Konstantin Totibadze are the heirs of the famous Georgian artists' dynasty, Kutateladze-Totibadze (their grandfather Apollon Kutateladze was the head of the Georgian Academy of Arts, which now bears his name). Marina Tsurtsumia is the filmmaker in the second generation, and Georgy Tashkir is an enthusiastic photo collector, being the great-grandson of the famous Kyiv photographer Moses Tashkir.
Gogi Totibadze: "At some point we realised that it's time to leave the boundaries of the workshop, because there is an obvious desire fr om the audience, to get acquainted with that part of contemporary art that is unknown to the general public. We thought about this for a long time and, finally, with the help of Marina and George, we decided that Winzavod is a wonderful place wh ere we can realise our plans".
