School of Collectors and Experts

The School of Collectors and Experts is not only an educational institution but also a club for people who want to consider art as a lifestyle and familiarise themselves with the art industry. Art should be enjoyed, and to accomplish it you must learn how to view and observe. School of Collectors and Experts – is your access to the world of art.

The programme of the school is based on a modular educational system and includes:

• Lectures on the history of art and introduction to the art business (the core of the programme)

• Specialised courses (expertise courses and authors’ courses)

• Master classes in contemporary art galleries, antique salons and artist workshops

• Weekly visiting of the most vivid exhibitions, vernissages, etc.

• Tourism

Also, we have:

• Small groups - no more than ten people

• Lecturers are recognised masters and experts, working in the art industry

• Option between evening and full-time studies

• Free of charge substitution for missed classes, with no statute of limitations

• The atmosphere full of joy

The School also launched the Collector online course. From September 13, open-call for for participants will take place it will last until December 1, 2021. The objectives of the course include knowledge of the general history of art from antiquity to the present, as well as defining the concepts of art business.

The course is given by Svetlana Kovalevskaya (morning) and Kirill Alekseev (evening). A program consists of 23 group lessons lasting 3 hours, of which there are twenty lectures and three offsite - in an anti-carnion gallery, a museum and a gallery of modern art. As part of the course, everyone is provided with additional materials for the lecture part.

Classes are held twice a week on weekdays from 11 to 14 (morning groups) and from 19:00 to 22:00 (evening groups). Upon completion of the course, a Certificate of Additional Education is issued. You can sign up and see the detailed program on the website
