During the discussion, it is proposed to discuss the method of “capturing everyday life”: what is the peculiarity, what is the difference from other strategies and what are the similarities?

Panelists will discuss the following questions:
  • What is the peculiarity of the method of the image, designated as the capture of everyday life?
  • How does it differ from other methods and tools for working with visuals?
  • Is this approach political or apolitical?
  • What are the features of working with such art from the position of art historian and curator?
The exhibition project of Zubritskaya is a series of objects snatched from the environment, partially subject to change and transferred to the gallery space. The artist interprets and relives her emotions through the conservation of the objects found. They are united by the topic of obsessive desire, which is impossible to find a way out.
