Collective project
Chronopolis: phygital-living room

The exhibition "Chronopolis: phygital-living room" will open in the Generative Gallery.

The exhibition is a living room in an imaginary space residential complex filled with inventions of the future and artifacts of the past. The multidisciplinary project will combine works created using current technologies in post-Internet aesthetics.

The name of the exhibition refers to J. G. Ballard's book Chronopolis and Peter Kamler's animated film of the same name.

The project explores the complex interaction of humanity with the ever-changing landscapes of the future. The exhibition, created as a collage of technological relics and fragments of forgotten memories, reminds us of the constant movement of progress and the temporary nature of human existence.

The objects invite you to think about the ethical consequences of technological progress, visualize the search and sensations of post-digital physicality, are inspired by bioengineering, artificial intelligence technologies, and reveal glimpses of utopian dreams and dystopian views.

Participants of the exhibition: Sofia Atalikova, Olesya Lavrinenko, Polina Abina, Elena Minaeva, Natasha Perova, Alexander Safronenkov, Nika Peshekhonova, Sasha Puchkova, Jan Posadsky, Daria Pasechnik, Julia Staroverova, Alexandra Gavrilova, Yaoma Bantik, Anton Bundenko, Yaroslav Berkut, STAIN, Alexander Vasilenko, Gleb Ivanov, Lisa Lyubimova, Kami Usu, Elina Marusova, golod siren, Danil Savinsky, Sxema, Neqla.

The original furniture for the exhibition was provided by ALOT and selected specifically for the project. The space is also complemented by an olfactory component — aromas from the studio SP. CANDLE.
