Generative Gallery opens a new space with the Ever-changing exhibition
The Generative Gallery space opens in the CCA Winzavod with the "Ever-changing" exhibition. The gallery's curatorial team introduces new names to the art community and explores unique formats of digital art representation.
For participation in the first exhibition in the Generative Gallery space, gallery curators Anna Smirnova and Daria Epin gathered young ambitious media artists developing digital aesthetics in their works.
Among the artists whose works can be seen at the exhibition are Kirill Contre, Polina Abina, Anna Phobia, Slava SAF, Natasha Perova, Alexey Efremov (solar.w), Yar Kirsanov, Kristina Sidorova, Evgenia Shabunina (ejaneress), Andrey Maksimov (Inv4r3d), Monolesan, DZA x Andrey Bulatchik, Alexander Abramov (Synthesis of Art) and Rodion Afonin (Outside.inc). Video works created with the help of new technologies, post-digital objects – in each work of art there is a processality, development, following which the viewer will be able to unravel the mechanics of its creation. The younger generation of digital authors calls for a review of the previous categories of assessments, methods and techniques, to accept and take into their own hands the management of transformations.
Ivan Nefedkin, founder of Generative Gallery and multimedia studio Radugadesign, emphasizes that the new gallery space in Moscow is сreated to become a platform for the exchange of ideas, experiments and innovative approaches in the field of digital creativity, and not just an exhibition platform.
