On December 9, an Evening of Vernissages was held at the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art. 12 resident galleries presented new exhibitions.
The pop/off/art Gallery has opened the Shadow Theory exhibition, a new career chapter by artist George Cohen, formerly known as Georgy Puzenkov. The exhibition includes previously unseen works fr om the period 2019-2024, which balance between non-objective and figurative imagery interspersed with text. The shadow here symbolizes the presence of light, and the immaterial takes shape and becomes visible.

XL Gallery presented the exhibition "Failures" of the Blue Soup group. The works were created using digital animation. The group's work explores detached and artificial landscapes, interiors, and locations wh ere mysterious forces operate. They resemble reality, but do not look like it, which creates the effect of an "ominous valley" and makes the viewer wary.
The exhibition will run until January 16.
On 11.12, the gallery hosted the opening of the exhibition "Fermentation" by Vladimir Marin, dedicated to the permanent search for new methods in his work and constant travel. As a result of the fermentation, new works appear that reflect both the artistic vision of the author and the surrounding geographical and social context.

VLADEY Space has opened a personal exhibition "Red and Black" by Egor Koshelev. The artist deliberately abandons the color palette in his works and tries new methods while in regional cities. This experiment resulted in two major projects that became an independent chapter for the author. The author presents art with a new intonation and other subjects that were previously unusual for him.
The exhibition will run until January 18.
The a—s—t—r—a Gallery presented the Paradoxical Paradise project by Sergey Sonin and Elena Samorodova-Sonina. The artists work in the fictional genre of "Russian provincial orientalism", asking visitors questions: is it possible to build a large-scale earthly paradise, harness the power of nature, and at what price is victory over chthon.

PENNLAB Gallery has opened a solo exhibition "Inside Soft Gold" by Elena Anosova, which completes the chapter of the Atlas of the First Snow project. The artist presents the results of a ten-year study of her family's history and the life of a multiethnic community of hunters and fishermen in the Lower Tunguska basin.

HSE ART Gallery presented a large exhibition "The Great Disorder" at two venues, which brought together artists, designers, researchers and teachers who reflect on chaos as one of the fundamental forms of the existence of the world. The Big Exhibition is an annual format that the HSE School of Design has been holding since 2021.

FUTURO Gallery has opened a solo exhibition "In the icy Ether" by Nikolai Onishchenko. The exhibition includes monochrome graphic works and an audio installation. The idea is a graphic representation of a sound device, which the artist compares to the principle of glacier formation and creates a series of graphics depicting sharp, fragile and nature—like objects.

The Triangle Gallery presented the personal project "Space of Variations or shining Chaos" by Andrey Yefimov. The artist creates his own visual way of life in all its manifestations, making reference to the themes of nature and space. The project seeks to convey to the viewer the essence of existence without specific forms, so that the viewer forms his own definition of life.

Totibadze Gallery has opened the exhibition "Cinema/Theater of Sveta T." by fashion artist and fashion designer Svetlana Tegin, who works in the field of cinema and theater. The exhibition presents sketches for famous films and plays. Her works balance on the edge of fashion and art, and this feature is clearly expressed in her collections and creative collaborations.
