The Biennale of Private Collections is a joint statement by the participants, in which each represents "his" collector — a significant figure for individual artists, institutions, the region and for the cultural space as a whole. One of the key objectives of the project is to launch new connections, identify new heroes, and see new opportunities for creativity and cooperation. CCA Winzavod is a partner of the Biennale.
Since its foundation, the CCA WINZAVOD has been making a significant contribution to art collecting. CCA Winzavod hosts leading contemporary art galleries, fairs, educational projects and much more, which directly affects the development and positive growth of the art market.
On July 8, at 18:00, the discussion "Collectors as agents of change", organized by the New Collectors Foundation, took place in the Vintage Hall of the CCA Winzavod. The discussion opened the intellectual program of the Biennale.
Moderator: Artyom Filatov, artist, founder and head of the Tikhaya Studio (Nizhny Novgorod).
Opening remarks: Marina Loshak, co-founder of the New Collectors Foundation, Chief Curator of the Joseph Brodsky Museum "Room and a Half", Director of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (2013-2023).
