On November 18, at 7.30 p.m., Vladimir Martynov's solo concert "The Machine of Memories" will take place in the Workshop of the White Wine Factory.
The concert will be the finale of the exhibition at the a—s—t—r—a gallery "Vladimir Martynov. Autoarchaeology. The space of autoarchaeology. Dmitry Fuck it."
Vladimir Martynov is a composer, performer, writer, historian, researcher of ancient and modern music. In 1999, together with Tatiana Grindenko, he created the Opus Posth instrumental ensemble. It is based on Vladimir Martynov's compositional and philosophical concept, which defines both the name of the ensemble (opus posthumum – posthumous publication of a musical work) and the current state of culture.
He carried out joint projects with Lev Rubinstein, Dmitry Prigov, Leonid Fedorov (Auctioneer).
One of the founders of the Devotio Moderna Center for the development and support of new music.
He has composed music for more than 60 films and TV plays, including the main theme for Paolo Sorrentino's The Great Beauty.
