The open studios of the Winery x Delcredere: the right for artists
The Winzavod Center of Contemporary Art, together with the Delcredere Bar Association, will conduct a course of lectures on legal issues created for artists and in their interests.
The main issues of artists' rights: copyright, financial and legal aspects of art sales, taxes, insurance, and logistics are becoming increasingly relevant in the growing art market. Delcredere has created a program specifically for artists of Open Studios on the legal status of artists, copyright protection, features of contracts with galleries and collectors, as well as rules for declaring and insuring works of art during export. The course will help artists better understand the legal nuances associated with the sale and transportation of works, which is especially important for those who seek to enter the international market.
The lecture series will be the first in the Russian art industry, specially adapted to the needs of artists, and offers practical knowledge necessary for successful work in the field of art and art business.
