A guided tour through the architectural history of the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art. During the tour guides will tell you how the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art transformed from old workshops and cellars into a popular venue for art professionals, curators and performers.

Vinzavod has a history of over 200 years. First it was a princely manor, then a brewery, which changed several owners and survived wars and revolutions. In the 21st century it became a key art cluster of Russia.


During the tour you will:
- descend into the former wine cellars;
- visit the bottling workshops and extensive underground wine vaults;
- get acquainted with the unique architecture of old Moscow and learn why the best galleries of modern art are located here.

The tour starts at the Infocenter.
