XII SPRING FAIR OF NEW NAMES WIN-WIN
12+
The WIN-WIN New Artists Fair is an event where artists, galleries, creative associations, and independent publishers meet for open dialogue and the sale of works directly at affordable prices. In 2026, the project will officially receive fair status and fundamentally change its approach to presenting artists and working with collectors.
To work with this new format, the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art invited Vladislav Dukhanin and Daria Kuznetsova, co-founders of the SHIFT gallery, to collaborate. The curatorial approach is reflected in the space's architecture: structural zoning and minimalist exhibition solutions are designed to simplify interaction with the art on display and allow for meaningful consideration of more artists in a limited time.
Visitors will see a renewed WIN-WIN with new curatorial features: a section dedicated to video art, "Shift," and an expanded parallel program featuring a marathon of portfolio reviews fr om invited gallery owners, curators, and artists. At the same time, the fair will retain its signature features—an equal distribution of works and 50 percent new names.
Furthermore, we encourage collectors and art lovers alike to pay more attention to unconventional mediums—video, objects, and photography—which traditionally account for only a small market share compared to painting and graphics,” said Daria Kuznetsova, co-curator of the WIN-WIN fair.
A career marathon in the format of a portfolio review will be held for the first time for fair participants. Invited experts will consult with the fair's artists, helping them build a better portfolio and develop a professional development strategy. Among the review experts are Daria Kuznetsova and Vladislav Dukhanin (SHIFT Gallery), Elena Fadeeva and Alina Chichikova (Fabula Gallery), Irina Shulzhenko and Daria Yartseva (Deep List Gallery), Dima Filippov (Elektrozavod Gallery), curator Alexander Blanar, and artist Roman Sakin.
Especially for the fair, VERKLOV.DOM, a comprehensive support infrastructure for creative people, will present works by three artists at its booth: Andrey Soul, Dina Borovik, and Stepan Lysenko.
The Simple Sample team, together with the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art, created clothing for the fair's coordinators and, in collaboration with artist Mikhail Rubankov, will present a merch collection inspired by the WIN-WIN aesthetic. The merch will be available for purchase during the fair at the Winzavod.Magazin booth in the Red Workshop.
On April 4, concurrently with the fair, the Fermentation Workshop will open the satellite exhibition "100 Bestsellers from 100 Yandex Designers"—a project by WIN-WIN Fair partner Yandex Books. The exhibition explores the intersection of book culture and contemporary design: 100 Yandex designers each selected a bestseller from the Yandex Books catalog and created a custom cover for it. A special WIN-WIN shelf featuring book recommendations from the fair's curators will be created in the Yandex Books app for the event.
Throughout the WIN-WIN fair, a children's space will be open in the White Workshop with activities from JOUJOU Kids, a special children's partner, and the Winzavod.Children project. From the opening minutes until the end of each day, the children's area will feature a JOUJOU Kids Playroom: "Imaginarium. Toy Story," "Figurlandia," and "Turbo Races." Especially for the fair, JOUJOU Kids and the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art team have created a wooden puzzle based on works from the Winzavod Foundation collection.
As part of Collector's Hours, a children's workshop, "Book of Impressions," will be held, wh ere participants will create a collective artist's book, each element of which tells the story of the WIN-WIN New Names Fair. During the fair's opening hours, free children's workshops will be held: "Create Your Own Exhibition" and "Book of Impressions," as well as "Collectors of the Future" mediated tours of the fair for children aged 6 and over.
