Say It's Sweet!
The exhibition "Say it sweet!" is a process of creating a series of paintings on shaped stretcher frames by Elena Kovylina, which are aesthetically reminiscent of the tradition of pop art, and in terms of meaning, of long term live art, where the work is created by the artist in front of the viewer, during a painstaking process.
The exhibition will be formed during the exhibition, directly in the gallery.
"Say it's sweet!" is a statement that suggests that the events around us are not solely determined by circumstances, but also by our internal choices and attitudes. In this context, Kovylina draws on philosophical traditions, ranging fr om Gnostic teachings, wh ere knowledge and intention shape reality, to materialistic concepts, where reality is constructed through effort and practice.
The viewer is free to choose what they consider "sweet" and which image best reflects their worldview. The "Say It's Sweet!" project transforms into a space for personal choice and aesthetic experience, encouraging reflection on the meaning of happiness, success, and fulfillment in life.
