Every day a modern person living in a big city starts his day with news from different information sources. Pictures, texts, videos - everything is subject to bringing to the user's attention as soon as possible and as complete as possible materials, documents, links, i.e. various kinds of information. Their abundance, which sometimes turns into a real information flow, is very difficult to control. A person loses the ability to highlight, understand and understand what is important in the real world. News turns into notions, specific people - impersonal characters, numbers, data, notifications - now they are all signs and symbols in the collective consciousness. The new information universe already exists in the digital field, and it is increasingly moving away from reality, becoming self-sufficient. Users urgently need an upgrade, flashing to be able to exist in such a world.
Artists of Studio 30 in their new project "Deep Mind: Firmware" put on this digital information flow in the material art objects. It is difficult to find people here: signs instead. Zoomorphic substances can turn out to be anything. Above them is a map of the starry sky. Is it true? Bits, bullets, cells, cells, cells, multi-layered results of human activity? Or maybe they are the very advanced people who have been transformed into signs that use symbols that exist in the new digital reality?
