In 2017, the Center for Contemporary Art Winzavod - one of the first private art centers in Russia - celebrated its 10th anniversary. During this time, together with CIC Winzavod, a generation of artists has grown up, which today can already claim the title of new heroes of the contemporary Russian art scene. The main event of the jubilee year was the cycle "Farewell to Eternal Youth".
Throughout 2017, the CSI Winzavod organizes large-scale solo exhibitions of representatives of a new generation in contemporary Russian art, for which the time has come for a transformation - the transition from the status of "young" artists to the status of held.
The participants of the cycle work in different directions, and their personal statements demonstrate the actual processes in contemporary Russian art. Together with the artists, the audience will look into the future of Russian art: who will become the hero of our time?
