On December 21 and 22, the ninth Taste of Paper Print Market will be held in the White Hall at Winzavod. More than fifty artists, creative associations, galleries and printing studios will present an exposition of works made in classical and experimental hand printing techniques. In addition to young artists and illustrators, for whom print graphics has become a common tool for the expression of the author's language, the market will be attended by professional galleries and studios.
JART Gallery will present the JART.market project, the main task of which is to create affordable art for the younger generation. The gallery will show the works of Dmitry Gutov, Irina Korina, Oleg Kulik, Pavel Otdelnov, Sergey Shekhovtsov, Egor Fedorichev, Ilya Trushevsky, Mish Masha, Dima Gorbunov and other authors.
ArtZip Online Gallery (Pop/off/art Gallery project) will present an exhibition of works by three generations of artists: contemporary art classics (Erik Bulatov, Vladimir Nemukhin, Viktor Pivovarov), leaders of today's art scene (Vinogradov/Dubosarsky, Anatoly Osmolovsky, Pavel Pepperstein) and rising stars (Natasha Tarr, Ivan Novikov, Maria Agureeva, Anastasia Zhikhartseva)
Pop/off/art Gallery at Winzavod will host a parallel educational programme consisting of lectures, seminars and discussions on print graphics.
Pop-up workshops fr om Moscow printing studios will take place in the master-class zone, wh ere guests will be able to get acquainted with silk-screen printing techniques, etching, linocut and many other classical and experimental methods of printing on paper.
In a special section of the market will be presented an exhibition of works by the participants of New Limits print residences, a joint project of Taste of Paper and Print Mafia, ESH-Print, Art Lito, Office Workshop and Hardcore Press. As part of the project, in autumn 2019, young artists had the opportunity to print their works in professional workshops in lithography, silk-screen printing, etching, gravure and printmaking techniques. The results of the residents' work will be presented on the market for the first time.
