Summer Creative Camp: free places on the June shift

Topics for the next shift: 

June 29-3 July "Around the world trip to the brightest and most unusual holidays and carnivals of the world".

Mexican and Venice Carnival, St. Patrick's Day and Halloween, New Orleans Jazz Festival and Fire Festival in India. Silhouette Theatre of Shadows (participants play themselves behind the illuminated screen, while the viewer can see full height silhouettes) - each participant will represent a country or city of their choice. We will create masks, costumes and decorations, come up with images and a plot, learn about amazing folk art of different countries and try our hand at techniques of graphics and painting with a pastel on colored paper. At the end of the shift participants will play a play.

6-10 July "Favourite Music Group". 

We shoot a video clip and have a disco. We get acquainted with music culture, listen to different music, try to play ourselves and shoot a video clip with a musician and percussionist Rostislav Voronin. We will watch the best videos of Imagine Dragons, Metallica, Twenty One Pilots, AC\DC, Billie Eilish, Queen and others. Let's master the props and - the main thing - make our own video clip! A fascinating process of shooting, we try our hand at music creation, master instruments and paint T-shirts on the theme of "favorite music band". In one of the days - Disco in the Workshops, the playlist is made up of children.

July 13-17 "Mythology. Journey to Ancient Civilizations".

Unusual ways of manual printing and graphics. We go to different ancient civilizations. Let's get acquainted with mythical animals of Ancient Greece, mysterious beings from Slavic fairy tales and legends, ancient Chinese dragons, unicorns, the Scandinavian epos - dwarves, elves and dragons, Egyptian deities and Australian aborigines. We tell and show the variety of species of the same epoch, learn the myths and legends in which these creatures meet. We try different techniques of rare hand printing - monotype, collage, engraving on cardboard and foam, grattazh, linocut. The result - colorful works in an unusual technique of hand printing on the theme "Mythical animals" .

Our participants will get a wonderful experience of fascinating free creativity and themes for inspiration, will master new techniques and learn a lot about ancient civilizations. On the final day of the shift we create 3D zoomorphic masks from cardboard by the Ancient Egyptian gods and organize a photo shoot.

On July 20-24 "Civilization".

Ceramics and a pottery wheel. A whole week is like one continuous game. We build benches, houses, towers, market square and bridges, combine separate buildings into a common city. Print coins and paper money (on a linocut machine). We learn about commodity exchange and trade, create props, invent roles.

In one of the days we will arrange a difficult quest with the search for treasure. At the end of the week we will have a fun Fair in the Workshops. Every day we make clay or work behind a potter's wheel with ceramic artist Andrey Kopylov. The exhibition of works and only what we got in a week will be held on Friday.
