ARTIS GALLERY, which cooperates with young authors and offers a wide range of contemporary artworks for both the most demanding connoisseurs and those who have just begun to immerse themselves in the world of art, marks the opening of the exhibition "ART IS...".

The gallery's rich collection inspired the curators of ART IS... to present works by gallery artists in the same space, which allow viewers to reflect and experience what ART (IS) is today.

Anton and Alexei Tvorogov's anthropomorphic pugs, which embody the wrong happiness of sybaritsy, or the bliss of nirvana, and beautiful relaxed girls Sasha Sokolova make us think that ART IS... EMOTIONS.

Mystical shades of acrylic in the works of Maria Agarkova, bold colors of Kristina Yatkovskaya and meditative experiments with color and as if random forms of Alexey Lantsev, existing somewhere on the border between sleep and reality, manifest that ART IS... COLORS.

Kristina Strunkova's works, imbued with the spirit of mystery and inspired by fiction, detective and comic book motifs, show that ARTIS... MAGIC. A similar mysterious vision of reality corresponds to the atmosphere of subtle, multi-faceted works by Gosha Spottednik.

The boundary between the virtual and the real, the logical and the irrational is blurred by the works of Vari Schuki and Diana Devicki. Artists reflect on how innovative technologies are transforming reality. In their interpretation, ART IS... FUTURE. The same idea is expressed in a more unexpected form by Ivan Khryashchikov's artworks made of multicolored caramel. Small works remind us of the food of the future from fantastic scientific laboratories.

Everyone knows that ART IS... LOVE. But even eternal themes are interpreted differently by contemporary artists. Andrey Shkarin creates hearts on a 3D printer, whose colors and shapes appeal to online aesthetics. They resonate with pure forms and colors of hearts by Darya Neretina, made of porcelain. The irony and grotesque of Alexander Ardabiev's prints, the nontrivial plots and the characters that come to life on Sergey Bloch's canvases, convince us of the life-affirming idea that ART IS... LIFE. And we are happy that ARTIS Gallery Gallery is a part of this life for 2 years already.
